The Evil-Blooded Girl - The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 6 Review

Norman, Emma and Ray

Let us review the 6th Episode of The Promised Neverland Anime. But before that let us have a little recap, in the previous episode we find that two demons were chasing Emma and Ray, and after running a few distance they get cornered up, but thankfully Norman arrives with the rest of his team, all clad in demon-like clothes. The episode was short but crisp, revealing a lot of information and reality about the neverland world of this anime.

New Characters Introduced in this Episode : Cislo, Barbara and Vincent

Norman is alive! : In this episode we get to see that Norman rescues Emma & Ray from the two demons that were following them. Although for Emma and Ray, it is surprising to see Norman alive and safe. Also he is not seen alone, he is seen along with the rest of his three team members Cislo, Barbara and Vincent. Upon seeing Norman, Emma is delighted and hugs him tightly while simultaneously crying as well. However, as usual, Ray's response was quite odd since he approaches Norman and slaps him hard on his face and then hugs the two of them tightly.

Lambda 7214 Mark

Lambda 7214 : Upon reaching at the place where all the other kids live, we get to see some surprised responses from the kids since they were almost pretty sure that Norman was dead. However, survival was not an easy feat for him. As per his experience, he was shipped to different farm where multiple tests and researches were conducted on the human body. Norman shows the Mark of Lambda 7214 Facility in which he was surviving for the past few years. The facility aims to research the top-quality humans in order to mass-produce them and eradicate the shortage of quality humans needed for consumption.

Norman reveals that demons are badly dependent upon humans, because their consumption aids them to maintain their intellectual trait. Without eating humans, demons will just turn to pure wild and will not be able to take logical decisions. Hence forth, Norman puts the idea of making the demons extinct by using the drug he created. Everyone looks amazed and interested with this idea, except for Emma.

Emma is Confused

Emma is not ready : Ray clearly knows that Emma is not happy with the decision of killing demons, since according to her ideology, there could be other ways to achieve freedom, rather than opting for fight or war against the demons. The only thought of killing demons is not good since they do have their families as well. Ray tells Emma that she should not hold her feelings for the demons and should notify about that to Norman right away, rather than bursting it out somewhere later. Emma agrees, but both of them are puzzled by the case of Sonju & Mujika, since they told them that they don't eat humans. How could demons possibly be intellectual without eating humans? It could be a straight lie or a corner-case that could be difficult to crack, since the anti-demon drug might not work on such type of demons.

Emma is Sad

A Change in Norman's Personality? : Emma and Ray visit Norman to notify him about Sonju and Mujika, but there they find out that Norman is not at his place, however the rest three teammates of him appear there. They have a little chat about Norman's past. Upon further discussion, we get to see that Norman's personality has changed from being kind to being more serious and 'bossy', as described by the teammates. Emma looks confused and surprised upon hearing this and thinking how much of a changed person he is now. Barbara was eating meat, and later revealed that the thing she is eating is demon's meat.

The entire three members seriously hate demon, because of the scenarios that happened with them in Lambda Farm, for which they can't forgive the demons. Later Norman arrives and Emma puts forth her query regarding Sonju and Mujika. Upon hearing about them, Norman looks devastated and panics, calling Mujika as 'The Evil-Blooded Girl' and pondering over how she is still alive.

Norman Frustrated and Scared

It feels like Norman must have already tried to kill Mujika. Possibly she is an 'insider' and could drastically fail Norman's entire plan. Now it is upto Norman how he will analyze the situation and change his decisions accordingly. He needs to make multiple plans to be on the safer side and needs more information to be one step ahead. It could also be possible that someone from his team has betrayed him by faking Mujika's Death. We still don't know, so let us wait for the next episode of The Promised Neverland Season 2!

That's it for today, I hope you enjoyed this review. Feel free to comment down below your thoughts. Thank You!
